I have an exciting new opportunity that I wanted to share with you and your network. Our top client, located in the Phoenix AZ. is currently seeking a Systems Applications Admin resource to join their organization. I have included a complete job description below in case you or someone you know might be interested in learning more.

Role: Systems Applications Admin
Location: Phoenix AZ
Duration: 7+ Months

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide daily support for various requests such as troubleshooting issues, creating users, managing permissions, creating projects, researching errors, etc.
Maintain system efficiency, recommend enhancements or upgrades to improve reliability and performance
Provide best practices and training for supported tools.
Support all areas of application lifecycle management (ALM) including: Project Management (Agile), Builds (CI/CD), Release Management, SCM, Development, Testing, and Reporting (SSRS, SSAS, Power BI).
Configuration and support of integrations between various tool sets.
Administration and maintenance for Windows Servers, SQL Servers, IIS
Installation and configuration of software applications
Perform Proof-of-Concepts (POC) for new tools or integrations
Technical Documentation

QUALIFICATIONS:
Undergraduate degree in CS/CE/CIS/MIS/Engineering/Technology a related field or equivalent experience and or training.
4 years of experience with systems administration or application development
Experience creating, enhancing and/or implementing guidelines and best practices
Working knowledge of virtual machine management & cloud hosting approaches
Hands on experience with Azure, Amazon Web Services, or similar platforms
Experience with Microsoft Technologies, especially Team Foundation Server (TFS) a plus
Experience with SOA, Web Services, IIS management.
Experience with IBM DataPower Appliance or similar tooling - a plus.
Experience or good knowledge of programming and scripting languages. (MS Visual Basic, ASP .NET, Java Script, C++, C#, XML, WSDL, PowerShell, MSSQL)
Strong knowledge of relational databases (SQL, Oracle)
Experienced in managing Windows Server 2008/2012, 7, and UNIX environments
Exposure to MQ Series and WCS
Ability to work in a collaborative environment using source control and other development toolsets
Excellent prioritization, time management/multi-tasking skills
Full SDLC experience; Agile experience preferred
Flexibility and adaptable to changing environments
Good written and verbal communication skills, team player
Airline experience a plus
