Position: MS Dynamics AX Techno Functional
Location: Milpitas, CA
Duration: Long Term
Position Summary:
A Techno-functional analyst will act as subject matter expertise and responsible for functional and technical aspect ofDynamics AX. This position will play a key role in scope, analysis, design, develop solutions using best practices to implement and improvise business processes, as well as troubleshoot and support daily operations in Dynamics AX.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Analyze, scope, architect, and deliver integrated, scalable ERP solutions based out of Dynamics AX
- Identify, understand, and define business requirements to provide effective solutions
- Design and document functional requirements, workflow, and system specifications
- Implement, setup, configure core modules Trade and Logistics, Finance, Master Planning, Production in AX
- Experience in AIF and EDI big plus.
- Work closely with business stakeholder across multiple functional areas, understand business processes, map and configure the requirements in AX. Possesses soft/people skills.
- Develop, customize forms in AX, build reports, writing SQL queries to fetch data extracts
- Track, manage and resolve daily support requests, issues, and administrative needs of users
- Design interfaces to integrate various systems with AX
- Troubleshoot, resolve day to day operational and administration issues in AX
- Experienced in full life cycle implementation, upgrade, and applications support of Dynamics AX
- Experienced in AX financials modules such as Contracts, Accounts payables, Receivables, GL, Assets, Bank, etc.
Additional Duties & Responsibilities
- Work cross-functionally to maintain and improve other key business applications likes of Management reporter, Adaptive planning, ADP, SharePoint and Salesforce.
- Ability to collaborate in a team environment, while also working independently
- Document, maintain and follow SOX Audit control processes such as change
Qualifications/Skills/Experien
- Minimal Qualifications Education Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience 5 - 7 Years of experience with Dynamics AX implementation, upgrade and application support Skills Working knowledge of Microsoft technologies including X++, ASP,.NET and SQL server. Experience withmiddleware Biztalk a plus.
- Excellent business acumen combined with strong communication, consultative, and project management skills
- Certification(s) in Microsoft Dynamics AX a "BIG" plus
- Knowledge of Trade and Logistics, Finance, Master Planning, Production best practices a plus
- Excellent organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills
- Strong creative problem solving and documentation skills
