JOB DESCRIPTION:
· Candidates with minimum 10 years of web development experience and with 3 years as an architect or technical lead Consultant for our platform services team.
· The main responsibilities include architecture, design, and development of common platform services working with application developers and product managers.
· The person is expected to learn new technologies, conduct proof of concepts, evaluate products, and give demos from both technical and business stand point of view so hands on coding is expected.
· Ability to self-learn new languages, technologies, and products quickly
· Experience with designing & developing infrastructure or common code – someone who has worked in technical COE teams is preferred
· Experience with Microsoft .NET(C#) and Node.js platforms
· Solid understanding of modern development techniques i.e. angularjs, REST, unit testing, and automation
· Familiarity with service oriented, even driven architectures, and design patterns
· Familiarity with Cloud architectures and cloud platforms(preferably Microsoft Azure but AWS is ok)
· Experience with relational and NoSQL databases(at least one)
· Knowledge of DevOps tools like Atlassin Bamboo, BitBucket, and Jira is preferred
· Agile (Scrum, Kanban) development experience.
