Position: Devops Engineer With pipeline Tools

Location: Austin, TX

Duration: 6+ Months

VISA: No Constraints

Rate: $Open/hr on C2C

No # Positions: 2

 

Interview: Phone & Skype

Candidate will be responsible for maintaining, supporting, and troubleshooting end to end build, package, and deployment systems in a large scale Microsoft Windows environment as part of a skilled DevOps team at Dell. Candidate should be experienced with current continuous delivery and agile best practices as well as experienced in supporting production websites and applications in a Windows Server environment.

 

Key Words:  CI-CD, DevOps, Powershell Scripting, Teamcity, Octopus, F5, VMWare

 

Responsibilities:

 

Work in a team environment, effectively dividing workload and integrating with team solutions

Work directly with software developers in the organization to determine and address critical needs

3rd party CI/CD toolset support, maintenance, performance analysis, and troubleshooting

Evaluation of gaps in 3rd party solutions and development of scripted automation solutions to fill those gaps

Support DevOps tools deployed and maintained within the team

Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work on a SLA based support model. Very good communication & coordination skills

Self-motivated and able to work independently with a go-getter attitude

 

Requirements – Demonstrate the Following

 

·         Total of about 8-10 yrs of IT experience

·         Proven experience among the following:

·         Implementing CI/CD tools viz.., Jenkins, TeamCity, BuildForge, etc…

·         Proficiency with scripting languages (Powershell, Bash, etc..)

·         Experience working with pipeline tools or development of custom pipeline operations (GoCD, Spinnaker, TravisCI, etc…)

·         Experience troubleshooting network, web traffic, and load balancing issues (F5/Nginx)

·         Experience with systems administration and operating system configuration of Windows Server operating systems

·         Experience working with virtualization technologies and virtualization API's (VMWare, OpenStack, Hyper-V, etc…)

·         Experience working with container technologies such as Docker

 

Skill Matrix:

 

·         Experience working with pipeline tools or development of custom pipeline operations (GoCD, Spinnaker, TravisCI, etc…)
