Job Description

Key Responsibility:

Guide our clients' data and analytics vision and provide the data architecture leadership to get there.

This position has primary responsibility for the design and implementation of a data and analytics architecture that will meet clients short and long-term needs.

Related responsibilities include:

• Working closely with Application Architects to understand the data model from the business needs perspective;

• Working with application developers on report design and development

• Working with database administrators on physical designs, data security, and database tuning.

 

Skills/Qualifications: -- Required:

8 plus years of experience in different Data Management Platforms,

• 5 plus years of most recent experience on SQL Server 2008; 3 on SQL Server 2012; and 1 on SQL Server 2016.

• Candidate should also have working experience on other database platforms such as Oracle, or DB2)

• 4 plus years of experience in Dimension Modeling, and Data Architecture

• 2 plus years of experience in different analytics platforms (preferably Tableau, MS SSRS, QlikView, Business Objects)

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to set and drive client expectations

• Ability to handle objection in a professional manner

• 5 Plus year of experience in adherence to, implementing and educating clients on data and analytics best practice

• Excellent communication skills – written and verbal

• Excellent time management ability

• Creativity; positive attitude; integrity; professional honesty

• Presenting Technical Information to non-technical audience.

• Experience in the Healthcare industry – Data Warehousing experience

 

Desired Skills & Experience

• Formal training in DW by accredited institution such as Kimball University, The Data Warehousing Institute, or similar

• Tableau

• QlikView

• Experience working with core Business Applications in the Healthcare industry

• Experience implementing large Data Warehouses
