I need a local GC or USC IT PM who is a Scrum Master, CSP, CSPO, CSM or who has very strong Scrum experience including Sprint Planning / Sprint Reviews.*****
Candidate must be a strong and independent leader with sharp technical skills and professional business acumen.
Scrum Master PM
• Creates and manages Project plans
• Assist the Product Owner (of user story) to create User Stories for inclusion into the Product Backlog
• Ensure the language adheres to Scrum
• Assist the Product Owner and Project Manager to prioritize the Product Backlog
• Facilitate Story Point Estimation
• Work with Product Owner for prioritized Epic User Stories
• Facilitate Sprint Planning
• Facilitate Daily Scrum
• Facilitate Sprint Review
• Facilitate end of Sprint Retrospectives
• Capture and report team performance metrics (Velocity)
• Shield team from interruptions during the Sprint
• Assist the Project Manager throughout the User Story Lifecycle
• Coach team on Agile "Best Practices"
• Assist Product Owner and team with Roadmap Planning
Requirements:
Ø BS or BA degree in computer science, business administration, or related technical field or equivalent experience is required
Ø Minimum 5 years in project management in large enterprise environments overseeing small to large teams directly and in matrix managed environments
Ø Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and organizational skills, and the ability to build strong working relationships with technical and non-technical teams alike at all levels including senior management
Ø Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and guide the efforts of small or large teams to successful project completion
Ø Ability to manage multiple projects at once, as required, and prioritize appropriately
Ø Skills with standard project management tools including Clarity, MS Project, MS Office, Visio, and Niku ? - Experience with standardized project management methodologies, processes and compliance standards including Agile ,SCRUM, SDLC, RUP, PMI, CMMI, ISO, Six Sigma, ITIL and SOX
Ø Applications Project Managers must have broad technical background with first hand expertise in custom development, implementation, customization, enhancement, maintenance and support, audit and compliance of applications that may involve the following technologies: .net/C#, HTML, DHTML, ASP, VBscript, Javascript, XML, Perl, CGI, IIS, C, C++, Java, VC++, Visual Basic, COM/DOM, Delphi, Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, Essbase, Sybase, IMS DB/DC, COBOL, CICS, JCL, VSAM, Crystal Reports, PeopleSoft, SAP, Oracle Applications, Seibel, Lotus Notes, Rational Tools, UML, OOD
Ø Minimum 5 years in application development
Ø Expertise in specific development languages and databases.
Ø Experience in all phases of the software development lifecycle including analysis, design, development, testing, implementation and support.
Ø Ability to interact positively and effectively with employees at all levels within the organization, as well as with customers, prospects, and vendors
Ø Excellent oral and written communication skills
