Job Description:
Positions Day to Day Responsibilities/Project Details (size, scale, scope)
Goal of these coaches is to guide and communicate the progress and adoption (using established metrics – Liju would be looking for the candidates to provide examples so he can incorporate to use as the new DTCC standards) in 8 – 10 week cycles.
Scrum Teams are currently aligned in groups of 6 – 10 with a blended on/off-shore development model. This is a co-location, multi-national environment. Sprint cycles are 2 weeks.
Would like to know things like:
How many teams was coach responsible for?
Average size of those teams?
Was the training done on a continuous (rolling basis) or one-time only?
Examples of metrics used to measure adoption and adherence to training
Examples of surveys, email templates used post training for follow-up on issues/questions
What are the top 3 MUST HAVE requirements of the position (years exp, technical, etc.)?
· True consultant approach to agile coaching and agile transformation
· Expectation for excellent documentation and ability to track and keep metrics on adoption and training
· Experience with colocation enterprise environments and blended on/off-shore development
NICE TO HAVES:

Client Job Description:
Agile Transformation Coach - help launch and drive Transformations to achieve increased agility, predictability, quality and responsiveness. Engage with stakeholders at all levels of an organization, from teams through senior leadership. Skills spanning assessment, facilitation, training, team building, influence, and program management.
Qualifications
· Bachelors degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
· 5+ years experience in technology organizations.
· 3+ years of large-scale Agile coaching experience with methods such as XP, Scrum, Lean, or Kanban.
· Demonstrated experience with at least one Agile transformation.
· 2 years of recent consulting experience.
· Deep knowledge of Agile principles and practices and the ability to transfer that understanding at all levels of the organization.
· Consulting and facilitation skills in leading technical teams in the adoption and improvement of Agile methodologies.
· Comfortable interacting one-on-one with individual technical contributors, senior engineering leaders, as well as coaching teams of engineers and presenting to large groups.
· Experience addressing enterprise issues
· Experience blending approaches (Lean, Kanban, Agile, Scrum, etc.)
· One or more related certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Scrum Practitioner (CSP), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), Project Management Professional (PMP), PMI-Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP).
· Open to travel throughout the US and outside the US
Technical requirements
No technical requirements, although familiarity with software and/or hardware development lifecycles and environments is a plus.
Job duties
· Design and support Agile Transformations, including training executives, functional managers, Scrum Masters, Product Owners and teams.
· Align executives, organizations, leaders and teams on Agile Values and Principles.
· Drive results through teams Being Agile over simply doing agile practices.
· Apply 'inspect and adapt' through and across team, program, architecture and business levels.
· Be a Change Agent, fluent in using both Agile and Program Management to resolve conflicts and powerfully shift an organization through any resistance to change and into high performance.
· Provide Agile Leadership coaching, influence and training to Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Program Managers, Technical Teams, Functional Managers and Executives on agile principles/values and how to build, grow and maintain a thriving agile organization at scale.
· Deliver hands-on coaching and leadership of teams in scrum, Kanban and Lean practices – from daily meetings, planning, self-organization, estimation, limiting WIP and removing obstacles to enhanced performance of the team, and ease the transition from the current process into an agile development process.
· Collaborate directly with software and operations teams to coach and guide them on the mechanics of Lean and Agile methods to achieve optimal team effectiveness.
