Java Developer with SENCHA

We are looking for a passionate, senior level java developer to support our agile team in designing and enhancing our existing pricing applications. The candidate would be responsible for the development, maintenance and support of applications developed for the Pricing business unit. This position offers the opportunity to participate in the entire software development lifecycle and use programming and object-oriented skills, methodologies, and tools to plan, analyze, design, construct and test solutions.

 

Qualifications:

 

• Must have a degree in Computer Science/Engineering; significant relevant work experience will be considered.

• Must have 3+ years of experience in HTML5; Experience in Sencha ExtJS

• Must have 5+ years of experience in Java Script, CSS and HTML

• Must have 5+ years of experience in object-oriented software development and maintenance using Java, Java EE, multi-core and multi-threaded architectures

• Experience with SQL, Oracle

• Prefer experience writing automated test cases using JUnit

• Prefer experience with maintenance and enhancements to large existing installed software base combined with new application development

• Prefer experience in IBM WAS, Liberty, Web Development, and UNIX shell scripting.

• Prefer experience with Core Spring, Spring Integration, EJB's, JMS, RMI, Web Services, IBM Liberty Application Server

• Experience developing and deploying in Eclipse and WebSphere or other application development or server environments

• Knowledge or hands-on software development experience using UI design patterns is preferred.

• Assist in defining and refining of software development procedures.

• Participate in full software development lifecycle.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Comfortable working in collaborative environments, with team members as well as customer.

• Nice to have experience (in priority order):- Subversion, Github, Rally, Development experience with an agile, iterative, Hudson, Jenkins, architecture centric, test driven development methodology.

• Position requires rotational off-hours on-call support
