Job Description:
ASP.NET/C# Developer that will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing state-of-the-art web portals and services. Developer will be capable of working independently as well as with other software developers and engineers when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Versed in software development standards and methodologies, including one or more, Scrum, Agile, RAD, waterfall
- Design and develop production-ready code that impacts thousands of customers on a daily basis
- Detail-oriented while thinking outside the box for testing edge cases and multiple scenarios when developing software
- Work with and lead software engineers and architects to design solutions and then implement independently when assigned tasks
Skills:
- ASP.NET MVC and C#
- Visual Studio 2013/2015
- Writing and debugging JavaScript including jQuery, Bootstrap and AngularJS
- HTML/CSS
- Designing and consuming RESTful API services
- Designing and consuming SOAP API services
- Database design using Microsoft SQL Server
- Entity Framework
- Developing a n-tiered architecture utilizing unity and dependency injection
Education:
- Minimum 2-5 years' experience in web software development
- Bachelor's degree (Computer Science, Engineering, or other technology equivalent preferred)
- Good written and English verbal communication skills
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Able to work independently from requirements to delivery while learning new technologies
- Learn and understand an existing codebase with minimal training and help
- Effectively work under pressures, deadlines, and stretch extra hours to complete assigned task
