Responsibilities
· Project manager for 1-3 projects.
· Most of the projects are small…teams are around 10 people.
· Person will use M&T PM tool: CA PPM. Not MS Project.
· Each of the projects are in different stages, but mostly in the beginning.
BASIC FUNCTION
· Overall responsibility for the successful planning and execution of a technology project.
· PERCENT OF TIME SPENT ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
· Organizes and controls the activities of the teams.
· Uses Microsoft Project and CA PPM to plan, sequence and schedule activities.
· Ensures completion of schedules. Coordinates activities with other managers.
· Identifies action items, decisions, risks and issues.
· Monitors project plans; coordinate major project activities.
· Keeps abreast of activities outside the team that may impact the team or client environment.
· Monitors financial plan to budget.
· Completes status reports and must be able to present projects, status or activities to management.
· Demonstrates a strong understanding of the business environment and needs within the area of
· responsibility.
· Ability to understand technical, business and operational impacts of a project or issue.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
· years or level of experience required for the job)
· Minimum of four years college with at least 10 years experience in management and a systems
· development environment.
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline preferred.
· Experience on large system enhancements, conversions and production problem resolution.
· Requires a complete understanding of the system development life cycle. Requires familiarity with
· application development support software and hardware platforms.
· TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
· Ability to effectively use project management, word processing and spreadsheet applications.
· Excellent problem solving skills to assist in issue resolution.
· Familiar with application development software and hardware platforms.
