Role - .Net Full stack developer

location: Bethesda, MD

Duration: 6 Months

Need Local Candidate. (EAD-GC, USC,GC)

 

Position Description:

An ideal candidate is skilled in delivery approaches and methods, and the supporting development and run-time environments required to design, build and deploy custom applications.  This position will leverage to implement these solutions on Java EE, .NET C#, Python, and Ruby platforms, as well as support the planning of infrastructure automation.

Responsibilities:

·         Ownership of technical designs, code development, and component test execution to demonstrate adherence to the functional specification

·         Using configuration management and integration/build automation tools to manage and deploy code

·         Applying knowledge of common, relevant architecture frameworks in defining and evaluating application architectures

·         Performing code reviews and providing critical suggestions for fixes and improvements

·         Supporting issue analysis and fix activities during test phases, as well as production issue resolution

·         Collaborating within a project team comprised of talented employees with diverse and complementary skills

·         Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes

·         Troubleshooting and performance tuning Java-based applications

·         Developing and demonstrating a broad set of technology skills in Java or C# technologies, Service Oriented Architecture concepts, Open Source libraries and frameworks, and technology architecture concepts

Qualifications:

• Have the knowledge of one or more: PHP, Python, Ruby, Java, .NET, JavaScript
• 5+ years' experience
• Experience with data migration, transformation, and scripting
• Ability to design scaling of an application to support load changes
• Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
• Ability to implement automated testing platforms and unit tests
• Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (e.g. Git, Mercurial or SVN)

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience
• Able to work independently or within a team
• Ability to work with minimal direction on a variety of, and sometimes ambiguous, requirements
• Organized, responsive and highly thorough problem solver
• Familiar with DevOps and Agile methodology

  

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Information Technology or other related discipline with 3-5 or more additional years related professional experience.
