Job Title: Oracle PL/SQL Developer
Location: Fort Washington, PA
Job Type: Contract -6+ months
Interview: Face to face after telephonic
Only local who can come for IN-PERSON.....Must have Pharma and Drug Safety experience
Task:
Develop and/or revise existing PL/SQL codes (packages, procedures, functions) to create analytical data for safety surveillance and signal detection for post-marketing customer complaint data. Perform and document quality control checks for programs and scripts.
This person will be able to read and understand existing packages in a short time and make changes to the codes to support its implementation in a new safety data system.
Qualification:
- BS/BA in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics (or related experience)
- Understanding of relational databases, database programming skills and tools.
- Previous pharmaceutical experience and understanding of safety analytics.
- Demonstrated the understanding of basic statistical principles.
Experience in two or more of the following:
- PL/SQL, Visual Basic, Java, HTML, XML, Python, or SAS
- 5 years PL/SQL programming experience is required
- SDLC experience preferred
- 2 years drug safety experience preferred
