Chief Architect – SFDC

The role
Provide technical leadership at the architecture/strategy level for the SalesForce practice.
This requires active participation in pre-sales engagements with new and existing clients.
The individual needs to be passionate about cloud computing and an active member of the SalesForce community.
Major Responsibilities
Understanding business requirements and translating these into technical solutions based on the chosen platform.
Designing and creating the underlying data structure and data flows to support the application build.
Designing and building web & mobile interfaces on the Force.com platform using Visualforce, Apex and other available tools.
Undertaking R&D, prototyping and are expected to actively participate in the Salesforce.com community.
Participating in pre-sales engagements with new and existing clients.
Working with the delivery teams and ensuring that the designs/strategy is seen thru completion.
Active participation with the SalesForce community – keeping abreast of latest technical developments. Participate in SFDC forums.
Provide thought leadership to the entire organization on the SFDC eco-system. Work with the Center of Innovation to create frameworks/accelerators.
Assume leadership in creating and implementing internal SFDC training , specifically on newer modules such as Wave, Lightning etc.,
Skills required
The ideal candidate will have a solid academic foundation to degree level or higher.
Experience in the following:
o Portals/Communities on the Force.com platform and/or other cloud based solutions.
o Working with enterprise applications: CRM, CMS, ERP, CPQ, Portals, SSO,
eCommerce,ESB/SOA.
o Development of applications on the Force.com Platform. o Visualforce, Apex, and SOQL knowledge.
o Building Web Service enabled applications (SOAP and RESTful) o Salesforce APIs and hands-on experience integration with ERP.
o Migration from other CRM applications such as Siebel, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics CRM applications.
