Job Title: Sr. SharePoint Developer

Location: Mt. Laurel, NJ

Duration: 6 Months

Job Description:

Common Skills

Ability to work in a team

Good communication skills

Problem-solving skills

Identifies risks and plans mitigation

Unit Testing, Debugging

Experience with Appln Life Cycle Mgt Tools such as VS

Experience with TFS

Technical Documentation skills

 

Primary Skills:

SP 2010/SP2013 skills (min. 4-5 Years)

Proficient with Microsoft .NET 3.5+ development using C#, IIS etc

Experience with user interface design and prototyping

Strong skills in UI Technologies such as Javascript, AJAX, CSS, HTML

Clear understanding of Responsive Web Design

Experience developing custom solutions for SharePoint using SharePoint API, Object Model, web parts web services, site collections/structure

In depth knowledge and experience with core Microsoft .Net technologies including: WCF, WF, LINQ

Solid skills in CAML/LINQ/XML/XSD/XSLT

Experience with Visual Studio ALM, TFS

Content Targeting, Security Trimming and an implementation of "SharePoint Security Model" on a large-scale

Strong background in agile/scrum application development  methodologies

Comprehensive understanding of object-oriented and service-oriented application development techniques and theories

Experience with debugging, performance profiling and optimization

Experience gathering and understanding client system requirements for SharePoint implementations

Ability to map client requirements to SharePoint application functionality identifying creative work-arounds when necessary or customizations/custom development

 

Preferred:

Relevant SharePoint development certification

Knowledge and/or experience in other Microsoft technologies

Experience with source control management systems and continuous integration/deployment environments

Strong communication skills with both internal team members and external business stakeholders

Strong initiative to find ways to improve solutions, systems, and processes

Internally motivated, able to work proficiently both independently and in a team environment

Ability to train client personnel on the usage and administration of the SharePoint application
