JOB DESCRIPTION:-

• Configure, maintain the Commvault backup and archive platform.

• Create, Schedule and maintain backup jobs

• Document standards, knowledge base articles and provisioning procedures

• Collaborate with cross functional groups to implement backup solutions.

• Participate in the rollout of Commvault as Enterprise backup solution

• Migrate back jobs for IBM TSM to Commvault

Skills/Knowledge Required:

• Good skills on one or several backup software including Commvault

• Good skills on Microsoft Windows Server 2008/2012 Operating Systems

• Knowledge of Virtualization Technologies (VMWare)

• Knowledge of one or more Linux based operating system

• Exchange, SQL, and Oracle experience with a backup mindset.

• Scripting Skills (VBScript, PowerShell) a plus

• Ability to work effectively with coworkers and clients at various levels

• Ability to triage scenarios and bring in additional subject matter experts for problem resolution

• Effective organizational, writing, and communication skills to assist with knowledge transfer to the Support organization

• Works in conjunction with clients to eliminate gaps and inconsistencies in the initial information system architectures to ensure that solution meets client needs
