Position: C++ Developer

Location: Irving, Tx

Duration: 12+ Months

 

1. 3 positions – C++ [Primary] and Android[Secondary]; Domain: Video, Embedded software
2. 3 positions – C++, Domain: Video, Embedded software

 

Responsibilities

• Design, build, maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C++ code
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
• Ensure the applications developed adhere to pre-defined performance standards

Skills

• For Position 1: C++ is the primary skill and Knowledge of Android is the secondary skill.
• For Position 2: Prior experience in STB, C/C++ and Video domain is mandatory
• Good knowledge of shell scripting is required
• Possess working knowledge of IPC communication, Multi-threading and C++ specific notions
• Strong proficiency in C++, with fair knowledge of the language specification
• Thorough knowledge of the standard library, STL containers, and algorithms
• Good understanding of memory management in non-garbage collected environments
• Familiarity with embedded systems design, low-level hardware interactions 
• Knowledge of low-level threading primitives and real-time environments 
• Implementation of automated testing platforms and unit tests
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools {such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial}
• Familiarity with continuous integration
