Job Description :

Title :      Infrastructure Analyst or Network Analyst

Location :

1.            USA - Oregon, Springfield

2.            USA - California, Mountain View – HQ

3.            USA – Arizona, Tucson

Duration : Long term

 

Responsibilities              

As part of the NIS Business Operations (BIZOPS) department, the Business Analysts will gather project requirements from Business Unit customers as well as IT Partner Organizations, who are responsible for Enterprise Applications, Information Security, Communication & Collaboration, and Data Services. Business Analysts work as part of a team that includes project managers, technical analysts, architects and solution engineering. The Business Analyst plays a key role during the planning stage of project intake by ensuring that the Technical Infrastructure Analyst (TIA) have all of the requirements and data necessary to produce detailed designs for deploying enterprise applications in the data center. They support the project and the project team through the project life-cycle, initiate, plan, design, build, test, transition to operations, deploy, and close.  

 

 

•                     Strong written & verbal communication, and meeting facilitation skills

•                     Good interpersonal skills, including collaboration, communication, relationship building, and negotiation

•                     Proficient with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.  Ability to operate and contribute to SharePoint sites.

•                     General understanding of infrastructure hardware and software systems including network, compute, storage and security for traditional data center hosted applications as well as virtual and private cloud solutions.

•                     Conceptual understanding of these data center technologies:

Network—firewalls, load balancers

Compute Platforms—VMware, x86 servers

Operating Systems—Linux, Unix, Windows

Storage—NAS, SAN

Databases—Oracle, MS SQL

•                     Minimum of 4+ years of working as part of large IT organizations

•                     Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

•                     PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA), Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), and ITIL V3 Certifications preferred
