Position: AWS Engineer

Location: Greenwood Village, CO

Duration: 6+months

Local and Face 2 Face

 

Responsibilities 

·         Must have Amazon Web Services experience, and experience coordinating with Microservice Support Teams

·         Must have Linux Systems Administration experience

·         Scripting experience (python/bash/perl)

·         Experience working with the following technologies:

o        VMs (VM Ware)

o        RedHat

o        Java

o        Tomcat

o        Postgres

o        Oracle

o        Perl

·         Strong troubleshooting skills

·         Comfortable with command line

·         Comfortable reading logs (for example: SPLUNK or ELK)

·         Use of monitoring tools (i.e., Icinga, Nagios)

·         Strong understanding of how to create/follow a method of procedure to troubleshoot/maintain and configure systems

·         Comfortable working in a variety of different technology environments: web, TV and mobile; front and back-end design utilizing proprietary and open source platforms, as well as back-end administrative systems

·         A nearly overpowering desire to automate balanced with a necessary amount of pragmatism

·         An open mind as to how automation may be accomplished

 

Desired Skills:

·         Video application experience is helpful but not required (i.e. Conditional Access, VOD etc.)
