Description
With limited oversight, work closely with customer organization to define project scope and delivery constraints, work closely with customer IT organization to understand and deliver scope using the customer project delivery methodology, manage delivery of agreed scope utilizing team resources, build delivery plan for the project, track issues and risks for the project delivery, escalate risks and issues as needed to keep project under control, manage project communication to ensure appropriate project stakeholder engagement, ensure delivery of project scope per agreed schedule and within budget.
Essential Skills
• Familiar with SDLC project processes
• Familiar with ITIL framework for IT delivery
• PMI PMP preferred
• Familiar with Engineering and Manufacturing functional space
• Familiar with MS Project
• Familiar with MS Office applications (including Visio)
• Familiar with IT infrastructure projects
• Familiar with continuous improvement
• Self-driven, self-motivated, track record of working closely with customers to deliver the desired results on-time and in budget
Desirable Skills
• Experience with IT Project Management from initiation through completion of project
• Experience working in PMO environment
• Experience working in matrixed environment
• Experience following project management methodology
• Experience reporting to management
• Vendor management
• Experience working with complex management structure with ambiguous reporting structure
