Hope all is well. I wanted to reach out to you about a Workday Analyst role . This would be a 6 month contract with the possibility of extensions. A brief job description is below. If you are interested please let me know and we can discuss.
· General Description of the Engagement We are recruiting one Senior Systems Analyst contractor to provide analysis for the client's PeopleSoft Financial application conversion to Workday. Candidate should be a strong systems analyst, preferably with an understanding of the following financial modules: Accounts Payable Asset Management Banking Commitment Control General ledger Project Costing & Grants Purchasing Vendor Maintenance Additionally, preferred candidate would have experience with PeopleSoft financial systems and experience with ERP conversions.
· Engagement Start Date & Duration, Weekly Hours, Work Location The start date is estimated to be immediate.
· The engagement will be 40 hours per week reporting to the Manager of the Applications Analysious team. The duration of the engagement is expected to start ASAP and end approximately on 8/14/2017.
· The start date, billing rate, and engagement details will be formally specified in a task order issued under the terms of the vendor's On-Call contract with the the client
Expected Responsibilities
· Integration and Interface analysis
· Development of Technical Design Documents and Specifications
· Business, Functional, and Technical Requirements Gathering & Documentation
· System and User Acceptance Testing Coordination and Facilitation
· Data Analysis and Correction using SQL and Query tools
· Issue Tracking & Resolution
· Issues/Risks Documentation
The ideal candidate will:
· Pass a background check.
· Have an excellent professional attitude with strong interpersonal communications and presentation skills.
· This is a customer facing position and requires that the resource approach all work tasks and business relationships with the internal project team, the customer, external vendors and other support resources in a highly professional manner.
· Act as a liaison between Technology Services and various internal and external Agencies for requests requiring research or development support.
· Have strong system analysis skills to drive business and technical requirements processes.
· Have strong and proven background in requirements gathering, documentation, testing, and production support of business applications.
· Proven ability to be flexible and work hard, both independently and in a team environment.
· Able to take direction from team lead and execute to task completion.
· Ability to drive tasks to completion and resolve issues and risks.
· Previous experience with data conversion and integrations.
· Previous experience with Workday is a plus.
· Previous experience with PeopleSoft 9.1 is a plus.
