Title OBIEE Solution Architect
Location Chicago (Downtown), IL | CHICAGO | Chicago, IL
Duration 4 Months
Essential Skills:
· 10+ overall IT deployment experience and Solution design
· 8+ years of experience in configuring large scale reporting applications using OBIEE and strong experience in OBIEE 12c
· Strong knowledge in Oracle BI Apps implementations and BI Administration
· Expert in all layers of OBIEE 11g - Physical, Business model and Presentation layers, ETL process.
· Solid understanding of business intelligence reporting software, especially OBIEE 12c , BI publisher ,product architecture, Weblogic server etc
· Prior experience architecting and developing solutions on OBIEE over Oracle EBS information sources (Preferably R12) with sound knowledge of using ETL tool, preferably ODI 11g
· Understanding on Golden Date usage in Data warehouse
· Has a good breadth of technical knowledge (complementing and otherwise) - such as ODI 11g, BI Apps configuration Manager, Functional Setup Manager etc
· Familiarity with Data warehousing tools and technologies used across industries
· Must have excellent communication skills
Experience (Years) 8-10
Role:
· Review architecture design of OBIA implementation using OBIEE 12c and ODI and provide recommendations for betterment
· Update infrastructure architecture diagram documentation throughout the course of this project
· Review existing OBIEE/OBIA solution implemented and recommendations
· Optimizing the existing environment for varying business reporting requirements and data volumes
· Implement identified solutions and tuning environment for optimum performance
· Participate in test case creation, testing and test environment setup
· Identify risks and collaborate with internal teams to remediate and ensure a successful implementation
· Develop documentation artifacts that can be used for employee awareness, support, health checks, and future enhancements to ensure that the solution is sustainable and setup for future success.
Desirable:
· Expertise in Oracle Endeca EBS Extensions
