Duration 12 months
Responsibilities
ï‚· Responsible for engineer Cloud Native solutions that can be instantiated with different
technologies. They should be able apply scientific (or pseudo-scientific) principals in a
pragmatic way.
ï‚· Responsible to work as a high performance team side by side with other teams to help
Client buildup their cloud environment.
ï‚· Demonstrates ownership on the assigned projects until successful delivery of the same
ï‚· Responsible to be part of escalations and provide quick workable solutions
ï‚· Able to understand requirements from client / project team and convert them to
meaningful tasks
Technical Skills
ï‚· In-depth hands on experience in core Java is a must, functional reactive programming
experience is preferred.
ï‚· Significant hands on experience with Infrastructure-as-a-Service technologies such as
OpenStack.
ï‚· Knowledge understanding of one or more core infrastructure including those related to
Compute, Storage and Network architectures.
ï‚· Knowledge of Linux OS from a system management perspective including experience
with virtualization technologies and hypervisor architectures
ï‚· Significant Hands on knowledge of Containers (Docker, CoreOS etc.) and Container
Orchestration and Management.
ï‚· Hands on experience in managing large distributed systems preferably with experience
migrating from traditional virtualization environments to IaaS paradigms.
ï‚· Experienced DevOps practitioner through work in technology organization that
practices the concepts behind the paradigm.
Experience and Technology:
ï‚· Graduate in Engineering with Minimum of 10 years of experience
ï‚· Successfully designed and delivered cloud solutions and projects independently
ï‚· Rich hands on Experience in any Public IaaS (e.g. AWS/ Azure) & Hybrid Cloud
Infrastructure ( e.g. VMware/Open stack)
ï‚· Working experience with Software container management like Dockers
ï‚· Experienced in New Platform development and Greenfield cloud projects.
ï‚· Ability to work with Client global teams
Knowledge and other Skills
ï‚· Possess excellent written and spoken communication on English
ï‚· A fast learner and self-starter
ï‚· Should have an understanding of infrastructure technologies
ï‚· Problem Resolution
ï‚· Ability to logically approach a problem from definition through resolution.
ï‚· Ability to define a root cause analysis of an issue and explain causals, contributors and
resolutions to clients and other team members
Additional skills desired:
ï‚· Jenkins 2 (or similar) / Groovy
ï‚· Openstack Certification
ï‚· Scripting ability (Bash / Shell, Python, PERL, Ruby, etc)
ï‚· Linux
ï‚· Kubernetes
ï‚· Consul / Vault
ï‚· Docker / Mesos / Marathon / Rancher /CoreOS
ï‚· Salt Stack / Chef / Ansible / Puppet
