Position : IT OFAC Filtering Implementation Specialist
Location : New York City
Duration : 12 months Contract with potential for extension
Rate : open
Interview Mode: Technical phone interview and in-person afterwards
Primary Skill: Strong functional and technical knowledge of OFAC sanctions filtering for SWIFT and Clearing systems; plus any knowledge of SWIFT, FED, CHIPS and MQ Series, and the Fircosoft platform. Montran is a plus.
The ideal candidate must have strong functional and technical knowledge of OFAC sanctions filtering for SWIFT and Clearing systems. In addition, knowledge of SWIFT, FED, CHIPS and MQ Series is required. Candidate will lead the migration of the NY PRIME OFAC system to Head Office Fircosoft platform.
The following is a plus:
1. Knowledge of payment systems (MONTRAN GPS will be highly preferred, though not mandatory)
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead migration of NY PRIME OFAC system to Head Office Fircosoft platform
- Develop business requirements and create technical specifications and diagrams
- Perform functional, technical and project management related tasks and activities
- Liaise with multiple departments including Back Office, IT Infrastructure and Compliance
- Ensure technical implementation
Required Skills:
- Must have strong technical and functional knowledge of payment system filtering applications. In addition, understanding of SWIFT, FED, CHIPS and MQ Series is required
- Must have strong analytical skills
- Must have strong organization and project management skills
- Must have strong technical skills including the following tools: MS SQL, PL/SQL , Unix Shell scripting and Powershell
- Be detailed-oriented, a quick learner and self-starter
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience:
- 5+ years' experience working on payment/messaging/OFAC systems upgrade, migration and implementation projects
