Description: 186 – Specialized Software Developer III (Captiva) – Raleigh, NC
Follows company software development lifecycle to design, code, configure, test, debug, and document system and application programs. Assists in preparing technical design specifications based on functional requirements and analysis documents. Reviews functional requirements, analysis and design documents and provides feedback. Collaborates with other development staff to achieve quality and consistency. Participates in architecture, design and code reviews. . Develops and maintains operational and system level documentation. Requires demonstrated subject matter expertise of the specified software application. Years Exp: 5 - 10. Experience: Relies on extensive experience to plan and accomplish tasks . Leadership/Contributions: Leads and directs the work of others. Reports to: Director. Advanced Degree or Certifications?: Yes.
Desired Certifications:
• EMC Captiva Certified InputAccel System Administrator
• EMC Captiva Certified InputAccel Developer
• EMC Captiva Fundamentals and Administration
Mandatory :
• Install EMC's real time services and also help with configuring the web services for generating OCR
• Develop and maintain custom thin-client capture user interfaces that adapt the capture solution to the customer business processes using Captiva software
• Develop and maintain high-volume, batch oriented, centralized capture solutions using Captiva software
• Install Captiva InputAccel in N-tiered server environments
• Configure Captiva InputAccel in N-tiered server environments
• Perform regular maintenance on the Captiva environments, including software installation, upgrades, and patching.
• Manage all Security, Logging, Audit, and Usage requirements within the Captiva environment.
• Perform troubleshooting, resolution, and root cause analysis on issues that relate to the Captiva environment.
Skills Required (provide specific details around tools, client environment, certifications needed, etc): MUST HAVE
• Three or more years' of experience developing sophisticated paper document capture solutions using Captiva software
• Three or more years' experience with Captiva InputAccel capture application development and integration with FileNet.
• Two or more years' experience with C#
• Three or more years' experience with Java, JSP, SQL and HTML for thin-client application development
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent problem solving, organizational, and priority management skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
• Be able to work independently acts pro-actively, keeps management apprised of project related issues.
• Must be able to multi-task and work at all levels of the organization to resolve issues.
• Experience with installing, configuring, and administering all components of EMC Captiva InputAccel(Version 7.5) on Windows server.
