Work Location: Brooklyn, NY 11201 and / or 2 MetroTech C

MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE Note: Candidates who do not have the
mandatory skills will not be considered

· At least 4 years of experience as a full-time programmer with
designing and coding skills in Visual Studio SSIS.

· At least 4 years of experience in ETL development and implementation.

· At least 4 years of experience in a large scale, full lifecycle ODS
and Data Mart programs.

· Ability to design and code complex SQL Server and Oracle SQL/PL/SQL
statements.

· Ability to perform SQL Server and Oracle DBA tasks.

· Ability to design and code interfaces using .NET, XML, Stored Procedures.

· Strong knowledge and experience interfacing with ESB MQ Real Time Services



SCOPE OF SERVICES:



Responsibilities:

· Plans, designs and implements enterprise data architecture domains
to ensure alignment of total Enterprise Architecture with business
strategies, tools, guidelines, principles, policies and governance.

· Programs, designs and codes SSIS, DataStage, web interfaces using
.Net, XML and CSharp.

· Programs data queries, data transformation and loads jobs and data
extracts in SQL and PL/SQL – Oracle.

· Performs basic SQL Server and Oracle create and update tables
tasks, codes stored procedures and tunes large databases.

· Ensures that operational and analytical data warehouses are able to
support all business requirements for business reporting.

· Provides extensive expertise in enterprise data and information
management methods and standards.

· Uses Relational and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) Design
Patterns to coordinate the development and creation of projects and
project plans and architectural software solutions; and establishes
best practice solutions for architectural design.

· Programs and designs data extract, transform and load jobs using
the SSIS and DataStage ETL software.

· Interfaces between SSIS DataStage and web services, Enterprise
Service Bus (ESB) and message Queue (MQ) Real Time services and batch
systems.

· Conducts performance, functional and load-based testing on
applications and identifies ways to improve code in Visual Studio SSIS
and DataStage ETL Tool.

· Leads the design of data handling and cleansing, and
standardization of procedures and business transformation rules and
logic.

Contributes to developing transparent and well understood enterprise
data governance processes, rules and technologies to support them.
