Position: Lead Oracle EBS Developer – Must have Oracle EBS/SQL

MUST HAVE BANKING EXPERIENCE

Location: New York City

Duration: 6-12 MONTHS

Key responsibilities:
Work closely with the Finance department helping them with issues around the Oracle e-business suite, particularly around month-end
Develop fixes or enhancements across the 12.2.5 Oracle Financials technology platform
Manage the Fusion Middleware technologies used for interfacing & orchestration
Develop code on the 12c database in line with Oracle e-business suite application standards
Address issues or enhancement requests around financial reporting or management information
Provide regular progress updates to stakeholders
Undertake configuration or setup changes on the Financials modules, procure-to-pay, iExpenses or Project Costing/Project Billing
Work with Oracle support, raising SR's and providing diagnostic information when required
Provide out-of-hours support to address any critical system issues in a timely manner
Ensure development work has been subjected to QA, with support evidence to ensure changes are compliant with change control policy and procedures
Documenting Unit & Systems Integration Testing and help with the co-ordination of User Acceptance Tests
Communicate with wider technology teams to ensure fixes or enhancements are executed in a controlled and co-ordinated manner

Skills and experience:
Have worked with the Oracle e-business suite for 6+ years, with a proven track record delivering successful changes
Possess a sound familiarity of e-business functionality with hands on experience of configuring Financials modules
Be well versed with the process flow of Procure to Pay
Have a good understanding of PL/SQL
Experience working with a business intelligence tool such as OBIEE or Business Objects
Have some Oracle development tool familiarity such as Workflow, XML Publisher, Reports, Forms & J-Developer
Have had exposure to project implementations with a robust understanding of the project life cycle
Pay great attention to detail and be client driven with a focus on delivery and milestones
Have exceptional communication skills, being able to converse with a wide variety of stakeholders including CFO
Would be advantageous having experience with scheduling software such as Autosys, Control-M
