Job Title: Sr. Datastage Developer
Location: Chicago, IL
Duration: Long Term role
Job Description:
· 10+ years of DataStage design and development experience in a complex EDW environment.
· 4+ Years of Quality Stage, Information Analyzer design and development experience.
· 5+ years working Datastage/QS in a Windows environment Experience in two or more of the Infosphere Suite components and architects solutions that leverage the entire suite capabilities (metadata, data quality & profiling).
· Must have hands-on development experience in Datastage 11.3
· Must have worked in Onsite-offshore Model
· Ability to architect and design strong audit, balance and control architectures with exception handling, data flow monitoring and reporting constructs.
· Experienced in architecting data acquisition, staging and delivery strategies.
· Ability to write shell scripts and CMD statements for invoking and sequencing DS Jobs
· Knowledge and experience with real-time development is a must Experience with metadata concepts and metadata interfaces is required
· Strong RDBM skills (Oracle, SQL Server 2008, 2012).
· Strong understanding of BI Data Modeling (Star Schema) and how it is designed
