EDI Analyst/GXS Admin Operations Support

Location: Franklin Lakes, NJ

Duration: 12 Months

General Function:

This position will provide expert level operational support, as well as QA validation, for an extensively broad array of  B2B and A2A applications.

This position requires strong organizational skills and a broad knowledge of business processes.  Must be able to communicate effectively and have a minimum of at least 5 years of business awareness.  Candidate should be self-motivating and able to work independently.

The qualified candidate should have at least 5 years of IT and business systems operational experience, including EDI X12/EdiFact knowledge, in a large company environment.  Applicant should have experience in the following areas:  knowledge of GXS Enterprise Gateway, SAP IDOCS, SOX Controls and operational support.  

Responsibilities:

Maintain Application Configuration (manual configuration)

Maintain Scheduled Services and Node Queues

Monitor and Track to Resolution all Exception Notifications

Functional/Communication Acknowledgement Tracking and Reconciliation

Integration Services Help Desk Inquiries/Requests (Internal/External)

Administer and Monitor GXS VAN (self-serve web-site)

QA Control Validation

Manage Change Control Process

Manage the Promote to Production Process

SAP IDoc Administration

WebMethod's monitoring

Production Support Documentation

Sox Controls and Audit Support

AS2 Certificates

Accountability:

Provide a high level of customer satisfaction with clients.

Maintain system high availability by monitoring technical operations via software monitoring utilities, identifying errors and resolving problems expeditiously.

Maintain system integrity by following proper testing, promote to production, and documentation procedures.  

Qualifications:

Knowledge and Experience: 

EDI and related technologies, experience in one or more SAP modules. Must have strong time management and multi-tasking capabilities as well as excellent communication and inter-personal skills.  This position requires the ability to work across functions, locations, businesses and countries, at multiple levels.  Knowledge of EDISM, Ultra Edit and Exam DiffPro, Powerbroker, Unix, GXS/WebMethods software.
