Validation Engineer

Location: Seattle, WA

Duration: 6+months

·         This position provides support to SEA and BRK for execution of Facility, Utility, Equipment, and Instrument onboarding, qualification, and requalification.  This position will be based in SEA, but will include travel to BRK, as needed.

·         Develop and execute qualification protocols.

·         Generate final reports documenting study execution.

·         Support completion of System Impact Assessments and Criticality Assessments.

·         Responsible for ensuring the generation, technical review, execution and approval of process and cleaning validation deliverables.

·         Ensuring deviation resolution including root cause analysis when required.

·         Responsible for the generation and maintenance of validation procedures, validation master plans and validation reports.

·         Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

·         BS in Engineering or Science, or related / equivalent experience.

·         6+ years validation experience preferred; Direct experience in cleaning and process validation required.

·         Must be able to follow direction and execute assigned work independently, after initial training and qualification is completed.

·         Must be willing to travel, as needed to support BRK qualification / requalification.

·         Must be an effective communicator, able to effectively work in a team environment, and interface well with the organization

·         Excellent technical writing skills.

·         In-depth knowledge of biological product processing

·         Proven expertise in planning/organization/execution of validation activities, following up on results and resolving complex problems with cross functional teams.
