Skill and Role Summary: The Manager, Program Management manages complex, multi-track projects or small-scale programs to an acceptable level of risk by balancing scope, time, cost and quality while maintaining a positive environment that promotes individual development and high performance standards. He/she uses advanced problem solving skills, business skills, solid verbal and written communication skills, excellent relationship building skills, as well as strong leadership and team management skills. He/she must have a solid understanding of project management tools and approaches to manage complex, multi-disciplinary projects and the flexibility to lead diverse and dynamic teams to deliver balanced integrated solutions to our client's challenging business problems.
- Working on large, multi million dollar program for banking client in the US.
- Contractor will work on-site at client offices in Mt. Laurel, NJ. Opportunity to work from home most of the time once established.
- Sapient team is based in Toronto
- Project involves building a platform for capturing customer information and preferences across various channels
- Currently, the client has partial information in various places. Need to move to one system that is real time for bank branch (phase 1), call center, mobile, core banking, enterprise data warehouses, Hadoop lakes, etc.
- Responsible for program roadmaps; requirements track
- Working collaboratively with various technology partners: QA group, BA group, Tech tracks. PM brings those domains together
- Team size is about 80-90 people; 7-8 project managers who will be responsible for different tracks of work; all focused on their own work stream for their own duration. This role would tie that together
Qualifications:
- 7-10 years project management experience in successfully delivering marketing and technology solutions
- Experience working on similar large scale programs; accountability for budget or client revenue of at least $3M-$6M
- Sound experience in financial sector preferred. Should have experience implementing data projects.
- Looking for a leader who can manage clients and client teams along with other PM aspects (planning, tracking, scoping, financials, operational, etc.)
