STATE OR DOT EXPERIENCE IS A MAJOR PLUS BUT NOT REQUIRED

 

Role responsibilities:

•        Lead Team of 4+ Java developers on assigned tasks

•        Analyze, define, and document requirements for data and business processes

•        Design, document, and coordinate desired changes to Web Applications

•        Document project deliverables as assigned

•        Analyze and estimate feasibility and compatibility with other applications and projects

•        Provide quality control for project deliverables

 

Required Skill Set

•        Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership capacity.

•        Minimum of 7 years of experience in corporate or government as programmer analyst.

•        Minimum of 7 years of experience in Java, SOAP and REST based Web Services.

•        Minimum of 2 years of experience in HTML5, CSS3, JQuery and/or Backbone.

•        Minimum of 5 years of experience in EJB, Hibernate and JPA.

•        Minimum of 5 years of experience in JBOSS.

•        Proven experience in programming techniques using Java and Javascript.

•        Proven knowledge of principles and techniques of computer programming, testing, debugging, implementation and documentation.

•        Proven experience with analysis and design.

•        Excellent communication skill (written, verbal, presentations)

•        Excellent organization, analytical, planning and scheduling skills

•        Ability to resolve highly complex problems.

•        Self-starter who can work with a large and diverse team of business, management and IT individuals.

•        Demonstrated experience working with large project teams.

 

Desired Skill Set

•        Experience with State or county government

•        Secure Socket Layer (SSL) Experience

•        Experience with Enterprise Level Application Development spanning two or more business areas

•        Responsive Web Development

•        Test driven development

•        Agile methodologies

•        Integration Server experience - Apache Jenkins

•        Knowledge of TSO, COBOL, CICS, DB2 in the mainframe environment.
