Title: Business Analyst- Healthcare Payer

Description: This high-profile role, the IT Business Analyst will work directly with client users to understand and document their business needs and translate them into business requirements, which are then delivered to our IT development team for new applications or systems enhancements. This role ensures the voice of the customer is accurately heard by collaborating with the various functioning departments, including onshore and offshore product development teams. This position will be responsible for development of business test cases and coordination with development resources.
What you'll be doing:
· Working closely with all levels of end users, including executive level staff, to quickly understand new requirements or problems, and then suggest possible solutions.
· Managing various stakeholders representing different teams - executive, clinical, business, technology and product end users. Facilitate sessions to elicit requirements or understand problems and serve as a EHR and payor data SME to suggest possible solutions or workarounds.
· Build new applications used company wide.
· Creating and documenting the business requirements.
· Gathering and performing thorough analyses of all the information available.
· Enhancing business processes when applicable.
· Communicating with the product team OR development team to schedule development of system configuration or modifications and/or new modules.
· Developing test cases and perform testing to ensure requirements are met for system modifications or data extracts.
· Demonstrate leadership by coordinating the requirements, specifications, and user acceptance testing efforts.
· Extracting data on an as-needed basis.
· Perform End User Training and prepare Training Manual for new releases.
