Description
POSITION OVERVIEW
Create and/or modify existing Crystal Reports and Jaspersoft reports using data from the CA PPM Clarity PPM application.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION
Advanced experience with SQL (2008/2012), N SQL, development of scripts, such as Gel, which enable advanced functions within CA PPM Clarity application.
Identify key requirements and gaps.
Full understanding of SDLC processes.
Experience using, Crystal Reports 2008 and JasperSoft.
Resolve report issues reported by user community.
Must have the ability to create/write "tight" or efficient code. Meaning, the code must be written in such a way that when a user executes the report, it takes very little time to produce the results.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
5 years experience in a large scale enterprise environment.
5 years experience in developing Crystal 2008 reports
1 year experience and/or technical understanding of the Jaspersoft reporting application.
6 years experience using SLQ 2008/2012.
3 years experience using Oracle TOAD.
Additional Skills/Knowledge:
Strong understanding of database concepts (SQL, relational modeling/DB/table structure).
Experience working with Windows server platforms.
Experience with general purpose programming languages.
SQL/Oracle relational modeling/DB design, Java, and/or Unix Shell-Scripting.
Working knowledge of ticketing system, prefer ServiceNow, Remedy and/or Jira.
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION & LICENSES:
BA/BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, engineering or related field or equivalent work experience.
