1.     AD migration from Functional Level 2003 to Functional Level 2008.

2.     Users will be migration from sepracor domain to corpdfr domain

3.     Migration will be between domains, but within same forest.

4.     Preparing to migrate the PKI infrastructure
     Preparing your destination server
     Preparing your source server

5.     Migrating the certification authority from Windows 2003 to Windows 2012 R2
     Backing up a CA database and private key / Removing the CA role
     Adding the CA role  / Restoring the CA database and configuration on the destination server
     Additional procedures for failover clustering (optional)

6.     Verifying the migration after migrating Windows 2012 R2
    Verifying certificate enrollment / CRL publishing

7.     Post-migration tasks
    Upgrading certificate templates in Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS)
    Restoring Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS) to the source server in the event of migration failure
    Troubleshooting migration.

 

Job Description

 

 

1. Active Directory Windows 2012 R2/ Windows 2008 Architecture and PKI security
2. PKI Infrastructure experience on Windows 2012 / 2008.

3.       Good knowledge in ADMT tool migration.

4.       Plan, design, test, implement, troubleshoot, recommend and schedule improvements, upgrades and repairs to the Active Directory domains-Deploy Group Policy objects.

5.       Knowledge in User account and workstation migration in single forest/multi domain infrastructure.

6.       Perform migrations and manage trusts and integrations with enterprise systems

7.       Utilize PowerShell to manipulate and/or report on multi domain objects efficiently

8.       Produce written documentation for proposals which best describe solutions including the recommended technology and time required to fulfill.

9.       Knowledge to migrate internal DNS of the environment.

10.   Design, implement and manage PKI infrastructure internally and externally.

11.   Responsible for scripting and automating processes whenever possible.
