Build Release Engineer
San Ramon, CA
Long term contract
Must be Green Card/EAD-GC or US Citizen Only!! NO OPT.
Must have:
Customer facing.
Git, Rally, Bamboo, Jenkins, Confluence.
Linux & Windows.
Scripting, Bash, Python.
Qualifications/Requirements
• Listen, prioritize, and document requests and issues, ensuring resolution and follow-up
• Participate in an Agile work team and drive improvements in our core service offerings
• Evaluate solutions for teams across a wide range of industries and regulatory requirements
• Improve our knowledge base, and provide thought leadership for our developers
• Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation
• Excellent communication skills as the position is customer facing
• Create scripts, UI's, and integrated systems that enhance and expand our tools ecosystem
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or in "STEM" Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) OR High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 1 year of experience
• Applied experience with Linux system - administration and scripting (bash, Python, Per006C, Shell etc.)
• Experience with build systems (Ant or Maven is preferred)
• Working experience of Agile development practices (ideally as a developer)
• Working knowledge of databases and software design practices
• Demonstrated working knowledge of version control systems such as Perforce, SVN, CVS, Git (preferred)
• Prior experience working with common developer tool chains (Eclipse, Jira, Rally, Jenkins, Bamboo, Confluence, Artifactory, Coverity, etc)
• Excellent written and verbal.
