* Develop test strategies using project documentation as well as in depth meetings with architects and development leads
* Develop, maintain and upgrade performance test scripts for Web based and Oracle applications using HP LoadRunner with corresponding protocols (Web, Web Services, HTTP/HTML and Oracle)
* Execute performance tests on applications to ensure capacity and stability of the applications meets requirements for production deployment
* Monitor all impacted systems for network connection disruptions as well as any obscure application behavior resulting from network anomalies
* Evaluate, recommend and implement performance test tools and strategies
* Communicate performance testing results and identify areas for improvement with project teams
* Manage project deliverables and drive delivery of performance output with project managers, developers and peers
* Provide daily/weekly status reports as well as final results (report) to summarize results to Sr. Management
QUALIFICATIONS:
* B.S. in Information Systems, Computer Science, related field or combined equivalent experience
* 5+ years experience with Quality Assurance performance testing
* Solid experience in software testing with an emphasis on creating and maintaining performance tests
* Extensive experience using HP LoadRunner or comparable performance testing tool
* Experience with HP Quality Center and/or Application Lifecycle Management
* Testing methodologies and test plan/test case development
* Oracle EBS experience strongly preferred
* Test automation skills preferred but not mandatory
* Strong follow-up skills; ability to organize applicable department timelines and follow up with internal and external customer needs as needed
* Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively
* Strong organizational skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast paced environment
* Self-motivated, able to work both independently to complete tasks and respond to department requests as well as collaborating with others to utilize resources and knowledge in identifying high quality solutions
* Strong attention to detail
