We are seeking two Senior Windows / VMware Systems administrators for our Direct Client in Phoenix, AZ.

Position Overview (Job Summary)
Job Description
· Find, correlate, prevent, and own complex problems from incident to resolution, implementing fixes to keep the business moving while driving root cause analysis to ensure problems do not resurface;
· Develop and execute solutions to problems backed by thorough testing and engineering analysis;
· Develop, gather, and leverage metrics to prevent and uncover problems in the server fleet before they emerge;
· Leverage tools and technologies to optimize systems by squeezing out every clock cycle, IOP, and bit.
· Manage situations with calm, courtesy, and confidence
· Investigate, design, and implement best-in-industry, innovative technologies that will expand the Client's infrastructure through robust, scalable solutions
Job Requirements
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, technical field, or equivalent experience.
· At least one of the following certifications is required: MCSA, MCP, or MCSE.
· Beneficial Certifications: VMware VCP, CSM and ITIL
· 8+ years of experience designing, installing, supporting and troubleshooting Windows Server and related computing platforms.
· Expert level experience with Active Directory administration, structure, permissions, and best practices
· Experience with VMware (ESX/ESXi, vSphere, and vCenter Server).
· Experience patching, image deployment and updates of windows servers/clients using system center configuration Manager (SCCM).
· Knowledge of existing industry standards, technologies, and operational norms;
· Possess a strong sense of ownership and urgency; the capacity to ensure a problem is not dropped, forgotten, or ignored;
· Scripting experience is a plus; willing to learn Powershell.
· Good troubleshooter – you know every problem has a solution; you are unrelenting, persistent, and confident that you will find that solution;
· Experience with patch management using tools like WSUS, Systems Center, and/or NetProtect would be a plus
· Must be willing to work off hours as needed for upgrades, migrations, etc as needed by the business.
