The SAS developer will be a part of the team that will be replatforming a Hyprion based application to a SAS application
3-5 years of SAS Development experience with LINUX / SASGrid environment
Data analysis, data aggregation, application development, Reporting with SAS
UNIX/LINUX scripting experience
Oracle experience with advanced SQL skills. Experience with Hadoop or Netezza a bonus
SAS certification a bonus
Agile Scrum/Kanban experience

Manager Notes:
Strategic initiative proj called earnings at risk. Scheduled to go for 2 plus years.
SAS developer will work on the application work streaming. Replatforming the revenue stream.
3-5 years of experience. With experience working on Linux. Reporting experience would be nice. Unix and Linux scripting experience. Enough to write raptor scripts. Looking for oracle DB skills and advance SQL skills. Hadoop or Netezza is a bonus. Experience with Agile Scrum methodologies.
SAS Cert is a bonus.
There will be another developer. Developer will be needed at least till year end.
Industry experience is a bonus.
Must work in DC.

Python Developer:
The Python developer will be automating workflows through a GUI-Based app automation framework
Python developer 3 yrs. experience in OOP concepts in Python
Knowledge of SAS helpful
Knowledge in XML based technologies, XML messaging, XMLSchema, XML parsing
Experience in building frameworks and automating complex workflows using Python.
UNIX/LINUX shell scripting experience
Oracle experience with advanced SQL skills. PL/SQL experience.
Experience with Hadoop and Netezza is a bonus
Agile scrum/Kanban experience
Manager Notes:
Will also work in the application work stream. Series of applications.
Developed GUI based applications framework.
Execution framework where users can read applications and execute them through a GUI.
Need a Python engineer to help plugin manual applications into the GUI.
Will last around a year.
Mid to Senior level.
3+ years of experience in Python
Experience with object oriented programming.
SAS is a +
XML is a plus – probably a must.
Automating complex work flows.
Advanced UNIX Shell scripting skills
Comfortable with Oracle DB.
Agile and SCRUM.
Must work in DC
