Title: Sr. Network Architect

Location: Middletown, NJ

 

Skills -

 

• 12 – 15 Years IT experience as a Network Engineer Supporting Data Center IT infrastructure.
  
• Strong expertise in designing, deployment and configuration of network devices in data center such as Cisco Nexus Series Switches i.e. 9K/7K/6K/5K/3K/2K
  
•  Experience with design, implementation and troubleshooting of Cisco, Brocade, and Juniper routing and switching environments
•  Routing knowledge in enterprise implementations (STATIC/DYNAMIC/OSPF/RIP/RIP V2/BGP/EIGRP/ACL)
• Experience on network technologies including Cisco Prime Infrastructure, Prime DCNM, Cisco UCS Director, NetappOnTap Configuration Manager, and Cisco Identity Services Engine.
  
• Strong experience in designing and configuring of Layer 2 / 3 networking features such as VLAN,VTP, ISL, 802.1Q, STP, RSTP, PVST, MST, Port channel, Port Security and L2PT.
• At least one CCIE certification

 

Roles & Responsibilities

 

• Understand Telecom network environment and requirements.
• Preparation of deliverables including CRD (Customer Requirements Document), HLD (High Level Design), LLD or DDD (Low-Level Design or Detailed Design Document), NIP (Network Implementation Plan), and NFRU (Network Ready For Use) Documents.
• Install and Configure network devices like Cisco Nexus Series Switches i.e. 9K/7K/6K/5K/3K/2K
  
• Troubleshoot network issues
  
•  Coordinate and Work with other data center teams such as Server, Storage, backup operations
•  Communicates status, reports as required
