Description:
Client want someone who can come in and hit ground running with polishing them up, developing cutting edge UI. Need to create/use frameworks, templates – diverse experience in multiple JS frameworks/technologies preferred such as AngularJS, Bootstrap, NodeJS, Grunt (Grunt and Angular were mentioned a few times). Will be doing prototyping, wire framing, and understanding how UI interacts with backend
- Work with Agile environment with sprints, frequent deliverables
- Some automation for test cases, testing their own code/working with Junit before handing off to QA
- Seeking 7-10 years of experience
- UX work and talking to end users to understand need will also be part of role.
Job Summary
This position will have responsibility for the development of Java applications with a focus on user interface development using AngularJS. The developer will be familiar with a relational database such as PostgresSQL and also with Nosql database like Cassandra and will be responsible for creating cutting edge user interfaces, scripting, server side application code development utilizing standard Integrated Development Environments (IDEs), working with Git and Maven, writing unit test cases and supporting the Testing and Quality Assurance phases of the software development lifecycle.
Major Duties
- Design and Develop enterprise applications using Agile methodology
- Develop Java code for client and server side component
- Write scripts to perform automation (testing etc
- Write database scripts and Unit Test Case
- Utilize commercial off-the-shelf and open source technology
- Support documentation effort
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- 8+ years' experience in Java Development, with a high level of focus on UI development using AngularJS and other user interface development toolkits.
- PostgresSQL, Cassandra, Git, Maven, Python
- Familiarity with working in a Linux environment
- Experience with Spring and similar frameworks
- Exposure to Agile (TDD) methodology a plus
- Should have excellent communication and problem solving skills and be a team player
