Job Description:

 

5+ years of experience in ETL development using Informatica with experience of requirement analysis, designing and developing ETL jobs
• 1-2 years of experience in Hadoop/Big Data & Informatica BDM
• Ability to use Informatica DI platform to extract data from external sources/transactional system and ingest them into Hadoop
• Ability to use Informatica Developer to perform DI & DQ operations on data within Hadoop.
• Ability to integrate Hadoop ecosystem (i.e., services such as HDFS, Hive and HBase) with other non-Hadoop enterprise level technologies such as ERP and RDBMS.
• Ability to develop Data Integration workflows and load processes.
• Ability to perform data analysis for both Source and Target tables/columns including those on HDFS.
• Good to have Sales Force experience
• Experience in data migration/extract from Teradata to Hadoop

 

 

Delivery reviews, ensuing defect free deliverables from team following SDLC/Agile process and client standards
• Operational reporting on Metrics and weekly status / progress
• Onsite and Offshore coordination on regular basis for deliverables
• Provides technical documentation of Source and Target mappings.
• Participates in design and development reviews.
• Works with System owners to resolve source data issues and refine transformation rules.
• Writes and maintains unit tests.

 

Understands data integration processes and the Hadoop ecosystem
• Has a good understanding of HDFS and Hive
• Has a basic understanding of relevant Hadoop technologies such as HBase.
• Has the ability to develop work plans and follow through on assignments with minimal guidance
• Has Informatica Data Integration Platform and Informatica Developer experience
• Is an Informatica Certified Developer (Optional)
• Has the ability to work with business and system owners to obtain requirements and manage expectations
