PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 
40%
Analyzes and translates business requirements into system functional requirements for software systems. Performs requirements gathering, analysis and user story and use-case development with internal and external customers for software delivery.
10%
Participates in the design, development and documentation of new system functions. Maintains and utilizes the development processes, tools, documentation and methodologies required to manage the lifecycle of all associated systems. May act as a scrum master during construction as required.
15%
Creates functional and regression test plans, functional test cases and estimates time to complete functional test activities. May work with interdepartmental teams in the execution of test activities for all test phases. Assists others in the execution of security, integration, performance and user acceptance testing as required
35%
Creates and prepares functional test data, executes functional test cases, documents detailed results and provides regular and ad-hoc test reports. Responsible for the execution and coordination of functional and regression testing. Ensures that system tests are successfully completed and documented and all issues are identified, tracked and resolved


MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
 
Level of Education and Discipline:
A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent education, training or experience in Information Technology, Management of Information Systems, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field.
Master's Degree preferred.
Amount of Experience:
Equivalent years of education and training, plus five (5) or more years related experience.
Certifications:
Relevant certifications such as CBAP, CSQE, CSQA are a plus.
Type of Experience
Analyzing, documenting and translating business requirements into technical requirements.
 Experience communicating requirements to technical staff and developing and executing test plans and cases to validate changes.
Experience in User Interface Design and User Experience improvements.
Experience with IT applications development and related lifecycle methodologies.
Additional Skills and Abilities:
Must be able to work effectively in a team environment as facilitator and team member.  
Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication and documentation skills required, with a demonstrated attention to detail.  
Ability to use deductive reasoning and analytical thinking with sound judgment and decision-making skills.  
Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills are also essential.  Must be self-starting and willing and able to work independently in a dynamic corporate organization under pressure of tight deadlines and aggressive expectations.  Self-motivated, problem solving skills and the ability to influence others without direct authority.
