The Database Architect/Developer is responsible for assisting Shurwest with development of data storage, data maintenance & management, and data analysis.
The Database Architect/Developer is responsible for assisting Shurwest with development of data storage, data maintenance & management, and data analysis.
Essential Activities and Responsibilities:
*Assist Company in development of data storage (i.e., databases) that help the Company store data critical to the Company's operation.
*Create data analysis tools or use current tools to help analyze key operational data.
*Assist Company with 3rd party data integration.
*Assist Company with creating reports to analyze/evaluate operational performance utilizing stored data.
*Assist Company in the management and customization of its Customer Relationship Management software (Sales Logix - CRM) – this is a top priority for this position.

*Three (3) to 5 years utilizing the Technical Knowledge above.
*Bachelor of Science degree in Business Information Systems or Computer Information Systems.
*One (1) to 3 years of experience of hands-on data modeling.
*One (1) to 3 years of experience with automation of existing processes, or the creation of automation where software reporting and analysis tools do not exist.
*Advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, V&H lookups, nested If statements, etc.).
*Three (3) to 5 years utilizing the Technical Knowledge above.
*Bachelor of Science degree in Business Information Systems or Computer Information Systems.
