Position:     Sr. Java Developer

Location:     Wilmington, Delaware

Duration:    6+Month

Candidates must be willing to travel to Jersey City for meetings with stakeholders at least twice a week

Job Description

Software developer should be Self-directed and responsible for aspects of the entire process of  development for medium to large complex projects.

Work with Business Analyst or  internal customers to define and gather requirements and map them to technical specifications

Produce highest quality of code for highly complex projects/required functionality;

Ensure software designs are maintainable and in accordance with technology architecture, hardware capabilities, cross-environments and future technological vision.

Develop and execute test plans for complex programs; unit test, and automate testing for features and modules.

Support existing software development efforts and develop new software modules.               

Involved in ongoing systems monitoring and general support of assigned applications

Involved in analyzing system/software performance

Must Have

·         8+ Year Experience in Java (Core & EE, Spring , JMS, JUnit) with a focus on object oriented design, multi-threaded applications, and distributed systems.

·         6+ Year Experience in SQL and RDBMS systems

·         4+ year of experience in application server like weblogic/websphere

·         4+ years of Experience in,XML XSD and API development

·         2+ Years of Experience Testing tools, such as: JUnit, Cucumber, QTP, Selenium, Mockito, etc

·         Strong application design skills

·         Solid fundamentals of data structures and algorithms

·         Strong analytical and communication skills both written and verbal

Preferred

·         Experience of high volume and low latency systems design and development

·         Good understanding of messaging systems architecture and high performance messaging middleware such as Tibco RV ,Solace OR Kafka

·         Knowledgeable about the trading life cycle

·         Knowledge of FpML and FIX
