Position: Oracle Apps DBA

Location: Saint John, Canada(customer is fine with associate to work from USA as well)

Duration: 12+ Months

 

Job Description :-

 

The customer location is in Saint John, Canada but customer is fine with associate to work from USA as well.

 

Requirements for the position would be:

·         Oracle 11g and 12c database administrator experience - 3 or more years, OCP as Oracle DBA certification is a required è

·         Oracle Applications experience with E-Business Suite (EBS) - 3 or more years, OCP as Oracle Apps DBA certification is a required è pls share EBS version because some of Oracle EBS does not certified with 12c DB and so 12c DB skill may not even require.

·         Oracle Demantra installation and upgrade experience - 3 or more years, integration with EBS is a required  è Pls share version of Demantra

·         Oracle WebLogic experience – 2 or more years, certification is a required

·         Oracle Value Chain Planning for EBS experience is a plus è Pls share version of VCP

·         Oracle Data Integrator experience is a plus è What is role/deliverables expected with respect to ODI from this person?

·         Knowledge of Linux and Windows servers is requiredè Is there any expectation of OS and server admin activities? If so then we wont be able to find such person because OS admin and DBA skills are totally different.

Please note- Certification is mandatory. è Which version certification is mandatory? It is difficult to get 12c certified and some of above mentioned products admin areas do not even have admin skills.

EBS version                   12.1.3.9 and 12.2.3.5

Version of Demantra       7.3.1.4, 7.3.1.5 and 12.2.5

Version of VCP               same as EBS

 

What is the role/deliverables expected with respect to ODI from this person?

·         Install, patch, upgrade    Any functional knowledge is a plus.

·         Knowledge of Linux and Windows servers is requiredè Is there any expectation of OS and server admin activities? If so then we won't be able to find such person because OS admin and DBA skills are totally different.

·         Not Admin, but will be installing, patching, tuning, etc. software on these platforms

 

Which certifications would be mandatory?

Should hold, or be able to achieve:

·         Oracle Database Administrator 11g or 12c Certified Professional,

·         Oracle E-Business Suite R12 Applications Database Administrator Certified Professional,

·         Oracle WebLogic Server 11g System Administrator Certified Associate
