Job Description

 

Client is a financial services firm Informatica developer in their NYC. The developer will be working within the Business Intelligence team responsible for data integrations between various Financial Systems including Lawson (EPR), Callidus (Producer Commissions), Epic (P&C AMS) and client's Financial Data Warehouse.  Integration tools employed include SSIS and Informatica.  This job will primarily focus on the Informatica integrations, but have responsibilities associated with all financial system integrations. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

• Design, develop and Test ETL processes per business requirements
• Load/extract data from/to multiple cloud applications (primarily Salesforce.com and Applied Epic)
• Develop/Maintain Informatica on demand Tasks
• Develop /Maintain processes that conduct service calls through APIs that interface with applications on cloud
• Ensure designed systems are reliable, self-recovering and require minimal support
• Work on troubleshooting data integration errors and identifying the data issues between data sources/targets
• Interact with business users
• Gather reporting and analysis requirements and translate into reporting structured data models, including aggregate tables, pivoted tables, and relational and dimensional (star-schema) data marts.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in the development, testing and implementation lifecycles
• Define and document complex technical design/requirements for integrations and data warehousing
• Other duties as assigned

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND/OR ABILITIES:

• Analytical, problem solving skills and technical solutioning skills
• Detail oriented & thorough
• Quick learner, self-starter & self-motivated
• May be required to work overtime as necessary
• Strong  Informatica Cloud (On Demand and Realtime) experience
• Strong ETL background
• Expert-level SQL coding/querying skills in SQL Server
• Experienced in Java/SOAP/Web Services development
• Expert knowledge of business process flows and mappings
• Strong knowledge and experience integrating with the Salesforce.com platform
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills
• Familiarity with the SDLC, release management and testing
• Ability to travel up to 15%

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• College degree
• Informatica Cloud Certification
• Background in developing workflows, triggers and Visualforce pages using Salesforce.com along with integration and conversion experience using Informatica Cloud
