Healthcare Data Analyst with SAS

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop strong business and technical understanding of the product and data warehouse.
Ensure development of a quality product carried out through all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle for all projects
After the groundwork has been laid, developers also must test their mapping and code to ensure the data is loaded appropriately.
Responsible for reviewing client data feeds and mapping to clients Standard data warehouse.
Responsible for developing and managing all related extraction, transformation and load of data as per the defined standard.
Ensure monthly data loads are performed, ETL Summary reports are generated and quality checks are performed on timely manner.
Developers need to be able to read, analyze and digest what a business wants to accomplish with its data, and design the best possible ETL process around those goals.
Developer needs to be able to listen to and interpret what the business side wants to see accomplished, discuss details in an easy-to-understand way, and then translate it all into nuts-and-bolts technical output.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Requirement – SQL TEAM
6+ years of experience using Microsoft SQL Server (version 2008 or later)
Experience in both creating and maintaining complex T-SQL queries, views, and stored procedures
2+ years experience performing advanced ETL development using SSIS including various dataflow transformation tasks
Requirement - General
Experience in Healthcare Medical Claims and / or Pharmacy Claims
Proficient with Microsoft Access and Microsoft Excel
Ability to translate business needs into practical applications
Ability to complete time-sensitive, multi-dimensional projects as part of a team
Desire to work within a fast-paced environment
Ability to work in a team environment and be flexible in taking on various projects
Proven experience working in a fast-paced environment supporting multiple concurrent projects
Strong knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts
