Skills

- Minimum 5 years, DB2 DBA hands-on experiences

- Data modeling and development team support

- Diagnose and solve database performance issues

- Significant SQL experience

- Adheres to standards, firm policies and complies with audit and regulatory requirements

- Platinum, SQL, COBOL, CICS, JCL

 

Job Description

Responsibilities will include either assisting with the unloading/reloading of DB2 databases, and creating efficient SQL to compare data columns between various tables or performing data modeling, SQL performance tuning, supporting application development

teams, utilizing DDL to administer objects.

 

Position Requirements

- A minimum of 5 years' current experience with DB2 Administration

- Database design experiences

- Ability/willingness to work some weekends and nights

- Strong communication skills

- Works well with others
