Java Developer w Healthcare Exp

Location: Chattanooga, TN

Rates:  $45-48/hour c2c all inclusive

Interview:  SKYPE

Terms:  6+ Months

 

Experience/Qualifications:

2 – 5 years of Java programming experience required

HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XSLT, AJAX, JSP, JSTL, Java, J2EE, EJB, JPA , JMS and Foundation Framework.

Web Service (JAX-WS, JAXB, XML, XSD, WS-security, SOAP/ REST)

Extensive Usage of IDE like Websphere RAD/Eclipse/Netbeans

Extensive hands on experience working on struts and spring framework.

Skills in Responsive UI designing with Frameworks like Foundation or Bootstrap.

Hands on experience in writing and modifying complex queries, StoreProcedures in SQL Server and Sybase.

Usage of Source code management tool like Clearcase, ClearQuest is a plus.

Working experience in Websphere (WAS) or any other Application Server.

Working Knowledge in Messaging(JMS, MQ, WebSphere Message Broker) is a plus.

Build/Deploy (Maven, Jenkins, UrbanCode Deploy) is a plus.

Experience in the health insurance industry is plus and preferred

 

Responsibilities:

Formulates and defines system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to design, develop, modify, or integrate moderately complex information systems

Devises or modifies application systems and procedures to optimize functional requirements including capacity, operating time, response time, and form of desired results.

Designs, codes, tests, debugs, and documents programs, subroutines, and scripts.

May serve one or more project team roles, such as project lead, business systems analyst, or technical lead, for small to medium efforts.

Competent to work on most phases of applications systems analysis and programming activities

Maintains technical skill set for software languages, databases, platforms, operating systems, utilities and networks needed to support work assignments.

Assists in preparing and maintaining application design document.

Responds to system failures and performance events by taking appropriate measures to reduce system downtime and eliminate recurrence of problems.
