Business Data Analyst with Healthcare Exp

5+ years for Health Care Payer experience.

I am recruiting for a Business Data Analyst role in Washington, DC (must be onsite) for a contract position (10 months).  The position will utilize Business Analysis and Data Analysis skills and must be very comfortable interacting with business users and sponsors, as well as developers, application and data architects/DBAs, and test analysts/QA.  

Requirements: 

Bachelor's Degree (Health Care discipline preferred) 

5+ years for Health Care Payer experience

3+ years of Business Analyst experience - requires excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with global team members and requires high attention detail 

3+ years of experience with all phases of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - (preferred Agile methodology experience) 

3+ years of gathering and documenting project requirements/specifications experience - should have experience with writing user stories and writing use cases 

2+ years of experience with writing SQL queries for data analysis

2+ years of Systems Analyst experience with web and/or mobile application experience 

2+ years of Relational database experience (DB2) and Data Warehouse concepts
